Rev. April Diane
Founder of Soutrue · Spiritual Guide
My journey has been one of questioning, discovering, unlearning, and remembering.
Through my own experiences, I came to understand that conscious living is not about becoming someone entirely new. It is about reconnecting with the truth of who we already are.
Soutrue grew from that understanding—and from my calling to create space for others to explore their own lives with greater awareness, intention, and spiritual discernment.

There comes a point in life when you begin to question the things you've always believed about yourself, about life, and about what it truly means to live.
My own journey has been one of questioning, discovering, unlearning, and remembering. Somewhere along that journey, I came to understand that conscious living isn't about becoming someone entirely new. It's about reconnecting with the truth of who you already are.
For as long as I can remember, I've known somewhere deep within me that I was meant to teach, guide, and share spiritual understanding. But knowing something within yourself and fully accepting it are two different experiences.
I've navigated challenges, questioned my direction, and confronted aspects of myself that weren't always easy to acknowledge. For a long time, I wondered whether those experiences made me less prepared to guide others. Eventually, I realized that the very experiences I questioned were preparing me for my purpose.
I began to look at challenges not simply as obstacles, but as invitations to greater awareness. What was this experience revealing? What belief was I being invited to question? What if the thing I was resisting was part of the guidance I had been asking for?
I came to recognize that Spirit had been guiding me all along—not only through moments of clarity, but through the experiences I had tried to escape. I also came to understand that I could not separate my spiritual understanding from the way I lived. Conscious living had to become more than something I taught. It had to become something I practiced.
My studies in metaphysics, yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, Reiki, and holistic well-being were part of a deeper search for understanding. Through that exploration, I recognized gifts that had always been present: seeing patterns, hearing beyond the surface, and offering perspectives that invite reflection.
One of my greatest lessons was learning to stop trying to control how those gifts should be expressed. I began making space for God, for Spirit, to work through me rather than allowing fear or expectations to stand in the way.
This work matters to me because I know what it feels like to question yourself. I also know what becomes possible when someone helps you pause, recognize your values, and see your experiences from another perspective. Guidance is not always about providing answers. Sometimes it is about creating the space for someone to recognize the wisdom already within them.
Soutrue was born from that understanding. It is an invitation to become aware of your thoughts, question your beliefs, make conscious choices, and return to yourself again and again. I share this work not because I have everything figured out, but because I am living the practice myself.
My journey wasn't about becoming Reverend April Diane. It was about finally allowing myself to fully embrace who I had always been.
And that is the invitation behind Soutrue. Not to become someone new, but to remember who you are.
